Visitrax is a 32-bit Windows application that supports
administrative/financial functions for Private Duty and Staffing
companies. A PPS module is also available. Visitrax operates
on W/Intel-type PCs in a client/server or peer-to-peer environment.
Stratis staff developed Visitrax and introduced the application
in 1998. The product is a schedule-centric administrative system,
delivered in separate, integrated modules:
- Visitrax Operations Module supports patient records
and administrative tasks.
- Visitrax Scheduling Module supports client and caregiver
schedules and validations and provides interfaces to the Santrax
telephony system and ADP, Paychex or Pensoft for payroll.
- Visitrax Billing Module supports electronic billing,
aging and A/R.
- OASIS and PPS billing support can be added to the billing
module via an optional Medicare module.
An interface is also available to a point-of-care application from
HomeCare Elements. Interfaces to laptop/notebook and Palm OS OASIS
are under development. Packaged management reports can be supplemented
with the embedded report writer or any ODBC-compliant, 3rd-party
reporting tool.
Visitrax was developed in Microsoft Access, Visual Basic
and SQL Server 2000. HIPAA-compatible billing is enabled through
WebMD's services and PC-Ace. Stratis recommends up-to-date Pentium
servers running Windows NT/2000/2003 and sufficient Access or SQL
Server 2000 licenses. Desktop stations should be Pentium-class PCs
with Windows 98 or above. With training, users can customize data
entry screens and build additional forms to access the underlying
database for data entry and/or inquiry.
Visitrax modules can be licensed for a one-time fee or
rented on a monthly basis. Stratis licenses modules outlined above
for $2,500 each for a 3-user environment, including software maintenance
and technical support services. Additional user licenses are 7.5%
of original fee per concurrent session, 5% for more than 10 licenses.
The alternate rental offer is 4% of original price per month per
module, which is applicable toward license fees within the first
six months of use. Custom programming is available at $120/hour,
negotiable for large projects.

Implementation, Training and Support:

Custom-designed training, including options to conduct training
onsite or at Stratis headquarters and a “train the trainer”
approach, are available at $65/hour. Onsite training is $1,200 for
a typical two-day program, expandable as needed. Both prices are
plus reasonable travel and lodging expenses, as incurred. Three
support levels are offered at scalable monthly fees. Support is
conducted by toll-free telephone during standard business hours.
After-hours support is billed at $90 per hour.
