Misys Homecare™ is a Microsoft Windows application that supports administrative, financial and clinical management for home health, hospice, and private duty providers. Optional point-of-care licenses for Windows laptops/notebooks and Tablet PCs are available. A Home Health Aide point-of-care system is available for Windows Mobile 5 devices.

The Misys Homecare™ system includes software and services such as implementation, project management, education, training and optimization.

The Misys Homecare™ product is an integrated system that supports electronic billing, scheduling, OASIS, clinical documentation, reporting and financial management. Functionality for home health, hospice and private duty providers are combined into one application. An included report writer provides management reporting.

Misys Homecare™ is developed in Borland’s Delphi and Microsoft .NET C#. Web Services are used to provide integration to third-party systems. It operates on servers running Windows Server 2003 and up-to-date Windows desktop PCs. Microsoft SQL Server 2005 is used to host the Misys Homecare application data. The point-of-care module operates on Windows laptop, notebook and Tablet PCs.

Misys Homecare™ is available for purchase, or can be licensed for a one-time, per-user fee plus annual maintenance fee.

Misys offers implementation planning consultation services. Training is available on site and via the web. Support is conducted by toll-free telephone; issues are typically resolved during the first call. Standard business-hours support is supplemented by a 24/7 pager system. Misys supports regional user groups to facilitate information sharing between customers.
